MR GLADSTONE AT LIMESTONE. CONQUEST OF THE SOUDAN HOPELESS. London, December 15.
Mr Gladstone addressed a large meeting at Limehouse, London. He said it was hopeless to attempt to conquer the Soudan. He accused the Government of wasting the time of the House by abridging pri/ate members' privileges. The Parnellites had, he thought, exercised great forbearance.
