THE HON. MR RICHARDSON AT THE TH AMES. Thames, December 15.
The Hon. Mr Richardson, Minister of Lands and Mines, arrived here late last evening overland from Coromandel, accompanied by Messrs H. A. Gordon, H. W. Northcroft, A. J. Cadman, M.H.R., and George Wilson, Mining Inspector. The party made a stay of two or three hours at Tapu, where the Minister was met by a. deputation of homestead settlers respecting his willingness to receive deputations here at ten o'clock to-day, when he will be interviewed on various matters connected with' the borough and county. . j.
