THE PUBLIC SCHOOL FETE.

A meeting of the Committee of Management of the School Fete was held in the schoolroom on Monday evening last. Present : Rev Jas, Marshall (chairman), Rev S. Lawvy, Messrs Ilott, Menzies, an>l Marsdon, Messrs Mars lon anil Menzies reported progress re collecting for the fete. Mr Marsdon stated Misses Mnlgan and Hould would assist him in collecting. It was resolved that the fete b« held in Mr Lipsoy's paddock, and Messrs Menzies and Marsdon were appointed a Sports Committee. Resolved that tVe following ladies be requested to kindly act as members of the fete committee :^-Mes lames Emerson, Lftwry, Biencoe, Winstone, and Dobson. It was resolve 1 to wrile to the Te Aroha Brass Band nsking them to kin lly j give their services on the day of the fete. Th" Committee will meet on Monday afternoon next at four o'clock,
