WHEREAS certain lands at or near Morrinsville, on the WAIKATOTHAMES RAILWAY, have been taken for public works, under "The Public Works Act, 1882," and its amendments, by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the Twenty-fifth day of October, 1888. tfow, therefore, I, EDWIN MITCH ELSON, the Minister of Public Works, in pursuance and exercise of eveiy power and authority enabling mein that behalf , do hereby appoint the Public Works Office at Wellington to be the public office at which persons having any estate or interest in any lands taken as aforesaid, or injuriously affected by the said Proclamation, or suffering any damage in respect of such lands from the exercise of the powers given under the said Acts* shall serve their claims, pursuant to " The Public Works Act, 1882," and its amendments.
