Thk r-»ins have ceased. They will not be of much benefit unless there is a further fall, ht Armidale, despite very heavy rain, the wheat crop is a complete failure. FLur has risen ;,n; ,n price £4. Hay is selling at £7 per ton. Bread, p' tatoes and produce have advanced m piic^ fifty per cent. Reports to hand from Central Cumberland district state that serious damage has been done to the fruit crop by the drought. Amongst the apples and grapes the lois is fully sixty per cent.
