A SCENE IN COURT.
WELLINGTON, Last Night. An extraordinary scene occurred in Court to-day, when Agnew and wife were charged with using insulting and provoeating language to the Premier. The Premier, who rould scarcely be heard above the lamentatior s of the fora ale to cused, said he had nothing to do with Agnew's case as it was dealt with by Parliament before he assumed office. He had no wish to punish these people but they were becoming s-uch nuisances that he found it impossible to leave his house without being insulted by them. The Contt ordered the accused to find sureties to keep the peace for six months in £50 and two smeties of £25 each. As Agnew was being removed he yelled to Sir H, Atkinson and the R.M., '* I will not find the security and I hope you will both be in **** befote I come out." Mrs Agnew was ordered to 6nd sinvlar securities to keep the peace for six month?, but she declared she would go to gaol and work for nothing fcr Government who had robbed them.
