The " Times " has been granted permission to tender in evidence reports from journals othei than the " Times." It is asseired that Russell intends to produce evidence which will trace letters back to the persons who leceived them from the writer, and show that these letters were alteied from the original, form hy means of forged sentences of a damning nature, which were inserted in the body of the documents on which the " Times " based its charges. It is also slated that the forget will be produced and evidence given which will indicate to whom the letters wore soid, and the prices received.
