Vernox Harcoubt has written to the London press denying the truth of Captain O'Shoa's evidence before the Parnell Commission regarding parleying be* tween the Gladstone Government and the members imprisoned in Kilmainhatn Gaol, and he asserts that some parb of O'Shea's evidence ia pure fabrication.
