ANGLO-COLONIAL POSTAL RATES. London, October 10.
Mr Cecil Raikes, Postmaster General, has stated that if the colonies are agreeable he will propose, should the mail contract be ratified by Parliament, that the rate of postage by the direct mails to Australia should be reduced to id per -|oz.
