At the Congregational Union yester. day, Mi George Taylor, a resident of Melbourne, offered to give yearly for thiee years, if a similar sum is subscribed by the public, for the es tablishment of Congregational College in connection with the Melbourne University. He has also offered to give if a similar sum is subscubed by the public, for the establishment of a school. A list was at once opened, and ;£ 10,000 was subscribed in the room.
