The publisher of the extracts from the diary of Emperor "Frederick denies Prince Bismarck's statement that they arc fictitious, and maintains that the stolid silence of Emperor William proves their authenticity, He adds that if the extracts were not true, legal proceedings would have been taken against him for publishing them. Prince Bismarck and his son, Count Herbert Bismarck, paid a sudden visit to the city to-day from Friedrichsruh c, and at once proceeded to interview Emperor William at the Royal Palace at Potsdam.
