LOAN CONSOLIDATION. THE PREMIER APPROVES MR WESTGARTH'S SCHEME.
The Premier approves of! Mr Westgarth's proposals' for consolidatioivof the loan's of ! all Australasian colonies, in 3^per cent, stocks. He thinks the practical result of the sqgtions may be beneficially felt by thfe colonies in four or five yearsj' but it will take fu)ly thai time for' them .to have any Effect.
