AN OLD OFFENDER.
Blemikim. Sept. 19. At the li.M. Court to-day George Grey, who had just been leleased from Ficton Gaol, was charged with obtaining CIO from Kichard Webb, jockey, by a spurious order. The accused elected to be summarily dealt with, and the offence beings proved, the Bench sent him t ( > the Terrace Gaol, Wellington, for thiee months' hard labour. He admitted that his real name was Daniel Spence, and confessed to several pievious convictions.
