AUCKLAND, Last Night.

The Government Inspector of dairies arrived in Auckland yesterday and left this afternoon for Wnikato, taking various settlements en route. Ths Government notified County Councils that Mr McUallum would visit any district where his services were desired to give hints on dairying, but up to the present only Tauranga has applied. Letters addressed to the Post Office, Hamilton, \rill bo attended to on Mr McCallum's arrival there. He proposes to visit the various factories in Waikato.
