LEASE OF RAILWAYS.
Parliament representatives at Wellington are anxious to get -home, so that the Public Works Statement will not be opposed. The opponents of Harbour Act Amendment Bill claim absolute majority against it.
The Auckland Chamber of Commerce meet on Thuisrlay to consider Mr Samuel Vaile's proposal for the lease of railways.
