THE LAST OF GASPARINI. WELLINGTON, Last Night.
There is everyj-eason to believe that Gasparini, the French|escapee, jumped overboard from the steamer before leaving New Zealand. He told some compatriots that he would die rather than be re-landed at New Caledonia. No information regarding big being missing has been received by the Government.
