A New War Cruiser.

Instructions were received at Sheerne-sF Dockyard recently for prepaialions to be made for building a fa^t war cruiser ot a new type, designed for the R val Navy by Mr W. H. White, Director of Numil Construction. The proposed ves.sel i& to be named the Barracouta, and will be built of steel, with a length of 233 ft. and a breadth of 35ft. Six cruisers of the Barracouta type are to be built for the Royal Navy during the present financial year.,
