Where the spotted snuke crawled by the stream, See the spires of a gu'eat city gleam— Is it all but the dream of a dream 1 And tho halls oi our domed palace fair And the wealth ot the world, that is there — Arc they naught? Arc they fashioned of. air? Not a dream ! For the nujrht is away And we walk in the liKht of a day That shall not be extinguished for aye.
