FURTHER DEBATE. London, August 8.

On the motion to report the Parnell Commission Bill, Mr Matthews moved for the insertion of clauses giving power to order the arrest of witnesses who might neglect the summons to attend, or who might refuse to give evidence. These clauses were adopted, but motions made by several Parnellitas with a view to limiting the inquiry were rejected. The debate has been adjourned.
