THE SUGAR CROl\ The Rewa Sugar Company were to commence crushing operations at their works afc Koroniva on Monday, 16fch July. The Rewa which wa« expected to show up well this yeai with the impot tant export of sugar, started ciushing on 2nd July. During the week ending on the 7th, a litfcle in excess of 4000 tons of cane was pub through the rollers. The cane crops, although not much heavier than those of last year, are rather better in the yield of saccharine matter. From nil appearances, the output for the season will certainly not be less than last year.
