FRIGHTFUL MURDER OF A MINER BY A CHINAMAN.
SYDNEY, July 31. A man named Morris, formerly a goldminer in New Zealand, and lateiy a prosperous resident in Blacktown, New South Wales, has been murdered by a Chinese gardener in his employ, named Hing Long. He killed Morris by a terrific blow on the head with a tomahawk. Mra Morris, in attempting to seize the murderer, was next attacked, and frightfully hacked. She is in a critical condition.
