Flour Market. — Wholesale : Flour, best roller, £11 ss ; second, £10 ss ; Southern flour, £9 ; bran, ton (sacks included), £3 10s; Southern do., £3 10s; local sharps, £4; Southern do., £4 10s cabin bread, £15 ; oatmeal (25's), £10 ; (7's), £1110s; oats, 2s3dto 2s4d; maize, 2s 6d to2s9d ; local potatoes, £3 10s; Sou them potatoes, £3 13s ; pearl barley, £23 to £24 per con ; beans, 3s 3d ; onions, 7s to 9s. All grain, chaff, oatmeal, etc.. sold including sacks. Kauri Gum. — The market is weak, with a decided downward tendency. Buyers are holding off, fearing further fall in prices. At present quotations are as follows : — Fair to good ordinary, £28 to £30 ; superior paicels, £33 and upwards ; East Coast, £43 to £45. Supplies for month, 671 tons. Coal and Firewood Market. — Coal : Newcastle (ship's side), 23s to 27s per ton ; yard, 26s to 30s ; Bay of Islands, at mines, 13s iat yards, 235 ; steam, 24s ; house, delivered, 30s ; Waikato, Bs, 12s ; at Auckland, 18s to 22s ; Taupiri, at mine, Bs, 12s, at Auckland, steam, 17s 6d : household, de livered,2ss; Whangarei, at mine,9s 6d : yard (steam), 17s 6s ; household, 23s ; delivered, 255. Firewood : Uncut at wharf (cargo), 6s 6d to 8s 6d per ton ; delivered, 10s to 12s ; cut, 14s to 16&.
