A Jealous Girl's Revenge.

Now comes the details of a more tragic episode As btated at the time, Mibb Bolton was wonnded in the shoulder by a shot from her adversary's pistol, but the wound proved not so serious as was at fhsfc supposed. After keeping to her room for two days Miss Bolton, watching for an opportunity, armed herself with a revolver, and silently stole out in search for her rival, whom she found entering the gateway of her home. Putting her veil to her face in order to conceal her features, she walked rapidly up to Miss Lemoore, and, without a word of warning, drew her pistol and discharged it twice into the body of her rival. One shot entered the left side just below the armpit, ranging through the heart and lungs, and made its exit on the right. The other one made only a flesh wound in the shoulder. The girl sank to the ground and expired. Miss Bolton, after viewing her terrible work, walked triumphantly away and related to her friends what she had done. She was arrested. Miss Lemoore was found to have had a pistol concealed on her person. Whitman, the cowboy, who has been the innocent cause of the whole trouble, has left Luna Valley.
