EXTENSIVE FIRE.

NAP3ER, Vestenlny. At ono o'clock thh morning a fire broke out in Colledge's (jeweller's) shop, find spread to Naphtalb (pawnbroker), and Goodwin's (butcher), in Hastings street. All three premises were gutted. The insurance on Colledge's building- is .-£250 in tho, Victorian office ; and on the stock £500 in the Ho nth British ; JE2SO in the Imperial ; and £250 in the Fhcenix. Naphtali and Goodwin's shops were owned by the New Zealand Insurance Co., which takes its own lisk. Naphtali* a stock was insured in the Norwich Union for £390. A good deal of Colledge's stock was uniujured, and a considerable quantity of Naphtali's stock was saved.
