A Melbourne .speculator has purchased five acres ot land fronting the river a short distance fioni the city tor £23,000. The premises known ab Kmg&iord's buildings, with 66ft. frontage to Queen -street, have been sold at L'7oo per foot. Melbourne capitalists are investing hugely in city property. Jn addition to the sales already iepoited,a block ot land at the corner ol ICdward and Adelaide streets has-> been purchased by J. A. Kitchen tor L' 32,000.
