At the meeting of the Board of Education to-day a letter was read from the secretary to the Te Aioha School Committee, covering one from Mr J. P, Vause, referring to his previous letter regarding the admission of a Chinese hoy to theTe Aroha School. Mr Vanso asked permission to withdraw his letter to tha Board, stating that he had been ill-advised and misled respect ing the statements he hail made, and which ho now found were not borne out by facts.
