RICH AURIFEROUS DISCOVERY IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA. Perth, June 29.
Ar extraordinary rich discovery of gold has been ' made in the (Golden Valley country. A party under Parke and Makie made the find. It is stated on good authority to bo of great value. Ifc is close to Risely'b recent discovery, and 40 miles from Colreavy's reefs. A ton of auriferous stone is being- sent here for testing. It is stated to be of extraordinary richness. Specimens already brought in leave no doubt as to the genuineness of the find. A large figure has been xefused for a very small share in the claim. The quantity of stone is &aid to be beyond question, and its richness is far beyond anything yet discovered in the colony. Quartz ■showing' gold, and freely, has been discovered at the Upper Murclnson by a prospecting pat ty One pfeuc crushed showed gold throughout.
