A SHARK ATTACKS A FISHER MAN'S BOAT.

At Port Melbourne, on the evening* of 24th June, two fishermen wore in a boat, when a Imsce shark attacked the boat, nearly sending it on its beam ends. It at once commenced to fill, and bailing? had to be resorted to. Eventually the fishermen had to call tor a&M&tance. and a boat, put. off from IT M.S. Nelson, and towed the other to land. It was then discovered that, a largo hole had been either knocked or bitten out of the boat. Had the water been at all rough, the boat would have fcunk.
