Jt also contains neai ly thiec times as much indigestible fibre, vi/ . !62 pounds in the ton in bran to 60 pounds per ton in wheat. This bi an is that made by the old pi opos from the best white "winter wheat. The bran made by the new, or roller pro-pe-j., undergoes various operation 0 tor tho puiposc of taking every particle ot Hour from it, and thi, of com. so chan^c-> it chaiacter i^omeuhal. As to the money value of the two substances, if a ton of bran is worth £4, a ton of wheat should be worth for feeding considerably more, as the feeding va'uo is in propoition to tho digestibility of the food, and should bo worth at lea&L about 3.* per bushel. In feeding wheat it should be com sol y ground and it is better if ground with half its bulk of oats.
