Jfuldflup, the tepiosentative in Auckland of the Kauri Timber Co., i& at present bu.-jily engaged in completing the purchase* of \ariou-3 timber properties, and having stocks taken preparatory to banding them over to the new Company, in consequence of this it has been found necessary in some cases t,o suspend operations for a time. Airangements tor re-organising and concentrating are being made so that as soon as the Company outer into possession, everything will bo in complete working form, and all orders entrusted to them will be executed piomptly and satisfactorily At present orders aro executed, and the general business of the various concerns is carried on as usual, but solely under the direction of Mr Moldbhip. Very tow changes arc being made in the employees further than thoso necessary for concentration and economy. The prospectus of the Company i« being prepared in Melbourne, and will shortly be issued, the anxiety for sharos being vory manifest. Tho desire of the promoters is, however, to L r ive tho fullest oppoituuity to the poople of New Zealand to obtain such intcrestb as they may desire in order to allay nuy tpaling_ that might exist by a monopoly of foreign capitalists,
