RAILWAY ACCIDENT. Inglewood (Vie.), May 21.
.A mo-«l dibtre&sing fatality occurred on the railway lino between hero and Bridgewater this morning, whereby a ganger named Swale was cut to pieces About the time the 8,30 train was= due he \vas> engaged in an inspection of his section of the line. He was riding on a navvy's tricycle, apparently not thinking of the approach of the train, which was hidden by fog, and before he could get off it was down upon him, and, crushing the tricycle, mangled the man's body under the wheels. The accident occurred not far from a gate-house kept by deceased'^ wife, and it .seems when his remains were carried oft a mobt heartrending chapter wa& added to this mournful event.
