Attention is dhected to the Di.iwinsj Clashes of l T mvoit>ity College, which aie now being held in the Museum Building on Monda\s and Wednesdays at 7 o'clock p.m. The main object of these classes is to give the SludenK the powei — so necessa.y to the xticee^sfu! pioduetion of any mechanical work — of setting foith on paper, accurately and to scale, the subjects of then woik. Di awing 1 is admitted by all European nations to be of the (iist importance to all mechanical art, and classes .similar to the above are in opeiation in England, France, Germany, etc. The Univeisity College, seeing the iinpoitiincc of the subject, has established tlie above-mentioned classes under the conductorship of j\[i J, Q, Trevithick, Engineer and Member of the Institute of Naval Architects, and commends them to the notice, not only of mechanics and Architect and Engineer apprentices, but also of the pnients anr) guiiidinn'* of pupils in the higher standards of the public schools.
