Gore Dairy Factoky.— -This factory, which is piobably the largest and most successful of its kind in the colony, is proving a satisfactory venture to its promoters*. The general manager, writing recently to Mr Valentine, M.H.R., say* that all their season's make of cheese, about 12 tons, had been sold f.o.b. at Bluflf at s£d per lb to a Brisbane firm, and they could have disposed to fcamo firm ten tons more at this figure if they had if. Some Tapanui people who had recently been at Gore were about to start a dairy faclory on the same line as the Cloie factory. "It is patisfactory to know," the writer addb, " that our endeavours have been successful, and that wo have now brought the industry to a paying point."
