Cardinal Moran.
1 A largely-attended meeting; of Roman Catholic gontlomen took pace in tho boardroom of St. Joseph's Building Society, Sydney, Lo make arrangements for a presentation co Cardinal Moran on the eve of his Eminence's departure for Europe. It wab then unanimously carried, on the motion of Mr Toohey, M.P., that tho testimonial should take tho form of a pur->e of sovereigns, and an address to be delivered by the Right Hon. W. 15. Dalley in St. Mary's Cathedral. A motion was then carried, on Mr O'Mara's suggestion, that a public meeting should be held to receive subscriptions towards the testimonial hind, and Tuesday evening next was h'\cd as the date. It is piobablo that the meotinu will bo hold in the Town Hall, and that a number oi speeches will be (U-lneied in advocacy ot the mu\ement.
