NATIVE LAND JOBBING.

Taujjaxga, April 18. At the Police Court thib morning judgment was given in the notorious Papamoa personation cases. The accused natives, eight in number, were fully committed to take their trial at the next sittings of the Supreme Court at Auckland. As an outcome of the cases two summonses have been issued by the police against David Asker, late aq;ent for the Government in negotiating the purchase of the Papamoa block. Mr Asher is charged with obtaining money from the Government for obtaining sitrnaturos to the deed of conveyance, knowing at the time that the persons signing were personating deceased owners. The piisoners committed for trial to-day will be the principal witnesses against Mr Asher, whose case comes on for hearing tomorrow.
