The Government aim on we that new taxation proposals will be brought forward at the earliest opportunity. It is proposed inter alia that a tax of Id in the £ shall ho placed on the unimproved value of land of upwards of ;£f>oo in value. -Jd in the £ on the capital reserves and deposits of banks, mortgage and Joan companies, and financial institutions of every kind.
