THAMES NEWS. Thames, April 12.

The Local Option poll was taken yesterday in the Thames north, South antl Central Licensing Districts and resulted against an increase of publicans' licenses in each ward. Very little interest was taken in the election. Han. G. Fisher, Minister for Education and Marine, arrived last evening. He will be deputationised re Harbour Board extension at noon.
