The Chief Medical Officer oi Victoiia reports that C R. Forwootl (.solicitor), who was ane&tod in Melbourne on wairant charging him with embezzlement) of lunds belonging to Sydney Taiwhanga and olhcv natives in Auckland, is still in precarious health in Melbourne and never likely to icoover. Ho also reports that Forward is unable to travel. It has therefore been decided by the New Zealand authorities) not to take any further steps towards banging him back to Auckland.
