THE GUILELESS MAORI. Tauranga, April 7.
Six charges have been laid againbt natives for defrauding the Government of about €300 in connection with the purchase of the Papamoa block. The accused personated the real grantees, who aie minors, and now Htate that they had authority fiom the Minister to receive the puichufao money on their behalf.
