THE WOOL SALES. LONDON, April 5.
The wool sales have opened; nine thousand five hundred bales having been catalogued, one third of which is from Now South Wales, and one third from Now Zealand. There is a full attendance of buyers, bidding was keen, and prices fully equal to February closing rates. There is available, including reserved, three hundred and forty thousand bales.
