THE FRENCH CRISIS.

He promised immediate settlement of the relations existing between Church and State, and a revision of financial .and military laws.

LATER. M. Lambert, Minister of Public "Works, disagrees with proposals for reform in the constitution, and has withdrawn from the Cabinet. M. Feroulat Monkland replaces him.

Parin April 3. The Pre*s and moderate Republicans generally disapprove of M. Floquet's manifesto.
