OIIINEMURI COUNTY. NOTICE of INTENTION to RAISE A LOAN. IN couti-i'tnity with the provisions of: " The Locul Bodies Loans Act, 1886," and the other Statutes in this case made and provided, Notice is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Ohinemuri County, propose to raise the sum of -£1100, by special Loan, under the provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," for the purpose of the following Public Works :—: — £ sd. Paeroa to Owharoa Metalling Main Road 250 0 0 Owharoa to Waihi, Metalling Main Road 175 0 0 Paeroa to Te Aroha, Metalling Main Road 0 0 Paeroa to Hikutaia, Metalling and draining Main Road 220 0 0 Mnckaytown to Karanghake, Metalling County Road 100 0 0 Upper Waitoa, To make and bridge new County Road 45 0 0 Lower Waitoa, To make and bridge new County Road 45 0 0 First year's interest on Loan, etc. 65 0 0 Total 1100 0 0 The cost of raising the said sum of £1100 so proposed to be borrowed, and tlie interest for one year dining construction of above woiks, is to be paid out of the monies proposed to be borrowed. No amount will be s^t apart each year towards paying off the said Loan, other than is provided by way of Sinking Fund, under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act. 1886." The secuiity to be pledged for the said Loan is a special Rate of one farthing in the Poundsterling, on all property lt-leiible for this purpose within the County, such rate to be an annual recurring rate, payable eveiy year on the Ist dny of July in each year, till the Loan be paid oil. A Meeting of Ratepayers will be held in each Riding on FRIDAY, the 13th day of April, 1888, at the places undermentioned, at the hour of 8 p.m., in the evening, for the pmpose of considering the above proposals: — Paeroa Riding — At the Public Hall Ptieroa. Waitekauri Riding— At Mr E. M Corbett's house, W-utekauri. Kaiangahake Riding — At the Public Hall, KarangahaUo. Waitoa Riding — At Mi F Stninge's house, Waitoa • and Mr S.
