FIRE AT PONSONBY. MR P. DARBY'S HOUSE GUTTED. Auckalnd, March 29.
A> outbreak of lire occurred between three and four o clock thi^aftornm n at the house if Mr Pitriek Darby in jNew -street, Potihonby. The house was completely i- uttered and a consideiable quantity of fiu'nituie damaged. The lire originated! through sparks from the- chimney, which had taken lire. The house "was a laige ont of eight or ten rooms.
