London', March 24. The Cambridge-Oxford boat race was won By Cambridge by five lengths. Cambridge led at, the start, and kept ahead throughout the race. Time, 20tnin 3secs. The weather was foggy.
Mr C. B. P. Bell, who rowed JNo. 4, is a son of the late Sir Joshua Bell, of Queenslaud, and lately the winner of the CoLquhon Sculls at Cambridge University. Mr Bbll i.s supported afc No. 6 thwart by Mr Landale, a Victorian. Oul of the 45 races that have now been, contested between the Universities, Oxford has won 23, JJ Cambridge 21, while that rowed in 1877 resulted in a dead hear;. Cambridge has won the race for the last three years running, and on Saturday pulled over the course in the fastest time it lias yet been done in.
