The second day's racing yesterday was apjain poorly attended. Kesults :— Handicap Hukdle Race, of 35so\s.— Holly, 1; Wideawake, 2 ; Nigger, 3. Kangaroo fell and hurt; his jockey. Dividend, 20s.
Kaipaka Handicap, ofsosovs. — Maratau, 1; Makiri, 2; Squire, 3. Dividend, 16s. Railway Platk, of lO^ovs. —Makiri, 1 ; Pink Rose, 2 ; Phcebe, 3. Dividend, j4s. The Haxdicap Pony Rack was won by Riley, and the Consolation fell to Kangaroo, Pink Rose second, and Tawhiao third.
