The Bench said they had decided to dismiss tho ou.^es, hut at the same time they would remark that if schoolmuslcis were allowed to give their boys a jolly good thrashing 1 when they deserved it without the fear of being brought before the Court, there would be fewer of such cases. Tho remarks were received with loud applause by tho&c in Court.
