IN conformity with the provisions of f< Tbe Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886," and the other Statutes in this case made and provided, Notice is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Ohinemuri County, propose to raise the sum of SHOO, by special Loan, under the provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188(3," for the purpose of the following Public Works :— 1 ~ £sd. Total 1100 0 0 The cost of raising the said sum of £1100 so proposed to be borrowed, and the interest for one year during construction of above woiks, is to be paid out of the monies proposed to be borrowed. No amount will be s^t apart each year towards paying off the said Loan, other than is provided by way of Sinking Fund, under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act. 1886." The security to bo pledged for the said Loan is a special Rate of one farthing in the Pound sterling, on all property rateable for this purpose within the County, such rate to he an annual recurring rate, payable •every year on the Ist day of July in each year, till the Loan be paid off.

A Meeting of Ratepayers will be held in each Riding on FRIDAY, the 13th day of April, 1888, at the places undermentioned, at the hour of S p.m., in the evening, for tnc purpose of considering the above proposals: — Paeroa Riding— At the Public Hall Paeroa. Waitekauri Riding— At Mr E. M Corbett's hon^e, Wa.itekauri. Karangahake Riding—At tho Public Hall, Karangahake. Waitoa Riding— At Mr F Strange's house, Waitoa - and Mr S. Charlton's house, Nethorton.
