Bkiujx, March 17. Tin: funeral of tho late Emperor look place to-day. The weather was cheerless. The route was lined by corps of tho Imperial Guards four deep. The street decorations weio of an imposing character. ' The Emperor, his mother the Dowager Queen of Piussia, and his wife the Empress' Prince BiMnarek, and Count Yon Moltko } did not take pait in the procession. Tho service at the Cathedral was most impressive. The procession -was an immense one, bub as tho road was strewn with leaves and branches not a hoof stroke was audible Tho Emperor and Emprefcs watched the procession from a window of the Palace, and wept bitterly. The Benediction was pronounced at tho Mausoleum. Salutes have been fired and sorvices held in all the capitals of Europe.

The Kings of Belgium, Saxony, and Roumania, the Grand Duke of Baden, the Prince of Wales, Princo Albert Victor, the Duke of Canibridgo, the Czare witch, and the Crown Princes of Austria, Italy, and Sweden were present at the Emperor's funeral. Many German Societies, headed by banners and other emblems, were also present. The Empress, accompanied by hhro r daughter, after witnessing the procession *rom the Palace, proceeded to tho Mausoleum. Special funeral services were held at Paris, St. Petersburg, Vionna, Madrid, and Constantinople. London, March 16. A large concourse of people were present at funeral services held at Windsor and St. Paul's, Westminister, on the death of the Emperor Wilhclm.
