Syoxkv, March 17. In formation to hand from New Guinea states that the German Gompany has spent over a quarter of a million in exploring the country. All tho harbours iv Geiman territory have been surveyed, and a number of stations havo been planted along the coast, Large sugar plantations have been started, which it is anticipated will prove very successful, nativo labour being cheap and abundant. The Company is encouraging emigration from Australia.
