IN couLimity with the provisions of " Tke Local P.ndics Loan" Act, 188G," and the other Statutes in this case made and provided, Notice is hereby given that the Chairman, ConnciUors, and Inhabitants of the Ohinemuri County, propose to raise the sum of -fiUOO, by special Loan, under the provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1880," for the purpose of the following Public Works :— 1 ~ £ s d. Paeroa to Owbaroa Metalling Main Road 250 0 0 Owharoa to Waihi, Metillmg Main Road 170 0 0 Paeroa to Te Aroha, Metalling Main Road 200 0 0 Paeroa to Hikutaia, Metalling and draining Main Road 220 0 0 Mackaytown to Kaianghake, Metalling County Road 100 0 0 Cpper Waitoa, To make and bridoc new County Road 45 0 0 Lower Waitoa, To make and bridge new County Road 45 0 0 First year's interest on Loan. etc. G5 ° ° Total 1100 0 0 Tbo cost of raising the said sum of £1100 so proposed to be borrowed, and tlie interest for one year duiing construction of above woiks, is to be paid out of the monies proposed to be borrowed. No amount will be s*-t apart each year towards paying off the said Loan, other than is provided by way of Sinking Fund, under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886." The security to be pledged for tho said Loan is a special Rate of one farthing in the Pound sterling, on fill property l&tcable for this purpose within theCounty,suchrate to be an annual recurring rate, payable every year on the Ist day of July in each year, till the Loan be paid off.

A Meeting of Ratepayers will be held in each Hiding on FRIDAY, the 13th clay of April, 1888, at the places undermentioned, at the hour of 8 p.m., in the evening, for the puipose of considering the above proposals: — Paeroa Riding— At the Public Hall Piievoa. Waitekauri Riding— At Mr E. M Corbett's bouse, Waitekauri. Karangahake Riding — At the Public Hall, Karangahake. Waitoa Riding — At Mr F Strange's house, Waitoa • and Mr S.
